CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS

“What Makes Where You Live Special?”

The rules below concern the contest “What Makes Where You Live Special?” that you’re about to enter. Please follow them carefully but above all, have fun reflecting on what makes where you live a little different, a little special. We’d like to hear about it and help a local charity in your community at the same time. Let’s celebrate being a little different, being individuals, together.

1. Agreement: These rules govern The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group (“The Commonwell”) “What Makes Where You Live Special?” Contest (“Contest”). No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. 3. Contest Period: The Contest begins Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at 12AM EST and ends at 11:59PM EST on Wednesday, December 31, 2014.  There will be one (1) prize awarded for this contest period.

5. The “Winning Response”: The ‘winning response’ is selected by a panel of judges from The Commonwell and their marketing & advertising agency of record. A ‘winning response’ is an original story of 100 words or less, that expresses an emotional or humourous example of why living in the participant’s particular community is so “great”. The participant with the winning response, selected by the panel of judges, will be notified within four weeks of the contest closing period of December 31, 2014, using the contact information provided by the entrant at the time of entering the Contest. In order to claim the prize, the Customer must sign a standard declaration form confirming compliance with the Contest Rules, acceptance of the price as awarded and releasing The Commonwell from any liability arising directly or indirectly from the Contest.  The winning response will be posted to www.thecommonwell.ca homepage.

6.
